THE FULL MOON REPORT

The moon will be full exactly at 7:33 pm (CST) today Friday October 22, 2010.

The nature of this full moon mark the events that will set the tone for the next three months until the sun makes its ingress into Capricorn in the winter.

Ramesey says; “if your Ascendant at this time be a movable sign, then must you not content yourself with that scheme alone; but for every quarter of the year must you erect another, this enduring no longer than till the Sun enter the first point of Cancer, and from thence1 may you know the events of the summer quarter, being June, July and August, under Cancer, Leo and Virgo; the third figure, for the third quarter, and that which is termed autumnal, being September, October and November, under Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius, is to be erected for the Sun his entrance into Libra; and then the last for the winter quarter when he enters Capricorn, which together with Aquarius and Pisces does rule December, January and February”(Astrologia Munda, B 4, sec 1, p. 21) Because the ascendant was in a movable sign (cancer) at the moment the sun entered Aries in the spring of this year, it is necessary to erect a chart for every change in season.

The sun entered Libra on September 22, 2010 at 10:09 Pm (CST). The ascendant was at 16 degrees Gemini. According to Ramesey, “In like manner, look whatever sign ascends at the time aforesaid, i.e., the Suns ingress into Aries in any year, and that sign, together with the Lord, shall particularly denote the common people of that kingdom or nation for which your scheme is erected, and shall be their significators, and the Moon generally..” (p.31), therefore, Mercury being Lord of Gemini, is the significator of the people and will mark the events of the fall season.

The hyleg was the moon, Mars the angel or promissor and Jupiter the almuten. The anaretic or killing places, are the places of Saturn and Mars (E. Sibly, The New & Complete Illustration of the Celestial Science of Astrology, London, 1826, p. 468). On Saturday, October 23, at 5:58 Pm (CST) Mercury reaches the point where Mars was located at the moment of the ingress of the sun into Libra, which is 6 degree Scorpio. The houses affected are in angles. Because they are in angles the influence is likely to be very strong. The moon at the time the significator reaches the promissor, is in Taurus. When the moon is in Taurus, it becomes exalted, meaning, next to her own house (cancer), in Taurus she is in the most agreement with her own nature. The house that she occupies at the time is the first house (self) in Taurus (self-esteem, self-worth, monies, possession). Emotional issues arising from self-esteem, self-worth, monies, possessions will be key factors that will generate the event. When Mercury (significator) reaches it promisor (Mars), it takes place in the 7th house (house of relationships, marriage, partnerships, open enemies) in Scorpio (sex, jealousy, envy, passion). In antiquity, before the discovery of Pluto, Mars was Lord (ruler) of Scorpio. To the ancients, it was well known the behavior that Mars exerted when he was in his own house because of the many manifestations and altercations of jealousy, sexual pleasures, passions and envy.

Jupiter is the almuten (the reason for the event) and it was found in Pisces( drugs, illusions, fantasy), retrograde in the 11th house (friends, freedom, universal consciousness).

Mercury was casting a sextile on to Mars at the time of the Autumnal equinox, therefore, the event takes place because of friends who portent to be friends and yet are not.

In conclusion, the full moon and thereafter, we shall see some very heated arguments between spouses, partners, or open enemies in regards to friends that in reality where not a true friend, whether they be mutual to the partnership or the individual, it will be a cause of much envy, jealousy, sexual rivalry and passionate emotional outburst.

It will be well advised to increase damage control and keep heated replies to a minimum. In time, the identity, nature and intentions of the false friend will be understood and hopefully we shall emerge from the influence without any major reprecations to ourselves, or anyone else.

JUDGMENT ACCORDING TO PLANETARY PLACEMENTS FOR THE VERNAL EQUINOX

It is a sad conclusion, that the modern astrologer has begun to embellish or even avoid all together, the disclosure of negative events foretold by planetary alignments, which to the ancient astrologer was a clear prognosis, pointing to a significant calamity that may have been otherwise avoided, should it had been revealed. However, guided by the written facts, on which the ancient astrologers thorough years of observation, confirmed the manifestation of certain events on earth, as a result of some planetary configurations, it is the intent of this forum, not to omit negative reports, calamities or inclement weather that has been foretold by planetary alignments, and so carefully recorded and preserved, for our benefit, by the astrologers of antiquity. Furthermore, we will present judgments according to written records of renown astrologers, in an effort to remain true to the sources and thus, confirm the validity and reliability of the ancient astrologer’s keen observations.
Judging by the exact planetary alignment of the ingress of the sun into the first degree of the cardinal sign of libra, marking the vernal equinox, the findings were the following:
The sun was found in the fifth house of the zodiacal wheel moving towards a conjunction with Saturn. The orb within the two planets is 6 degrees resulting in the following judgement: Raphael notes: “Saturn in the 5th house lowers the birth rate, shows much trouble to women and children, great depression in theatrical circles, and deaths and indisposition among noted people in that profession. If much afflicted it increases the evil and causes crime against children and much vice, distress and immortality” ([MAR], p.32). Because the sun and saturn constitute the “opening of the gates” meaning a tranference of light being lords of opposite houses, the conjunction of these two celestial bodies, denote much sorrow and pain for the coming months.
According to Ramesey: “Saturn Combust in Libra causes a defect in the sight of men and women; oriental, winds; occidental, whirlwinds and turbulent air.”(Astrologia Munda, William Ramesey), Pg 182. In this case, Saturn was found occidental (west) and combust or under the sun’s rays (any planet is combust or under the sun’s rays when it is within 17 degrees before or after his body). Ramesey also adds: “[The Sun in the fifth]
Again, if the Sun is in the fifth, he denotes detriment and grief to such creatures as are with young, so that hardly do any escape without some manifest hurt or other”.(p. 75)
“ [Saturn in the fifth]
Again, if he is in the fifth…. he is therein weak, judge the contrary; sadness for joy, crosses by children delights in them and penury and wants instead of feasts”.(p.64) Saturn here was found to be weak for being combust under the sun’s beams.
Mercury was found to be Lord of the year in Virgo and therefore, Ramesey declares: “[Mercury Lord of the Year in Virgo]
Again, if he is in Virgo, and Lord of the Year, there shall be much rain and plenty of corn and there shall be many infirmities of the eyes and death in the southern parts”.
“[Mercury in the fourth]
Again, in the fourth, he causes discords and jarring in words between man and man, also vexation and sadness; also, many scribes shall be captivated, or such as keep books of accounts, or Secretaries of State. And if the sign wherein he is, is fixed, they shall continue long in prison; if moveable, judge the contrary; and if Mars do maliciously aspect him, they shall be grievously beaten and tormented and perhaps slain”. (p. 80) Here Mercury was found in the fourth house in a moveable sign (Virgo) however, he is favorably aspected to Mars, so as to lessen the evil of this aspect.

[Dragons Tail in Cancer]
and if Dragons Tail is in Cancer, it denotes great mortalities and pestilences, sudden deaths, fornications and little or no justice, reason or honesty amongst men; the destruction of treasuries, and the flitting of great and noble men out of one place into another, also their sad condition and banishment through the works of their own hands, as writing, or some other thing signified by the ingenious planet Mercury (INSURRECTION OF THE COMMON PERSON AGAINST THE WEALTHY WITH REGARD TO SOMETHING RELATED TO THEIR HOMES, BECAUSE MERCURY IS FOUND IN THE FOURTH HOUSE)

In conclusion, according to the judgments of two of the astrologers of the 1800’s, the vernal equinox retains a common theme of sickness or disease and even death due to harsh winds, combined with rain, perhaps as a result of a natural disaster that comes about in relation to wind and water in the southern regions that occasions sickness, loss of sight, disease and death (affecting the young and children), loss of homes and insurrection towards the wealthy, and much pain and loss. The judments for the vernal equinox are unfortunate and it is to our hope that it should prove to be false and erronous. ~ARS~

THE EQUINOX

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , on September 21, 2010 by YAEL

Hello everyone !!! the vernal equinox will take place tomorrow Sept. 22 at 10:08 PM CST (5:08 UT). At this moment, the balance of dark and light are exact..or equal, hence, the name, equi, meaning same. Thereafter, the time of light will be shorter and the time of darkness will grow longer.
Since the summer solstice, the cancer crab has been making its slow decent in the sky to the most southern region in the heavens, culminating at the winter solstice, when it will once again begin to make its slow ascension into the northern hemisphere.
However, during the equinox, we celebrate its midpoint, the perfect balance of day and night, light and dark. The equinox also marks the beginning of a season. The fall season for those of us in the northern hemisphere and the spring for our friends in the southern hemisphere.
The beginning of the equinox is presided by Libra making it a cardinal sign due to the fact that it marks the change of one of the four major seasons. The 3 remaining cardinal signs are Capricorn which welcomes the winter season, Aries with its powerful leadership brings on the burst of new life of spring, and cancer with its easy and slow pace, graces us with the warm, relaxing days of summer.
The equinox reminds us of the importance of balance in our lives. The ancients also understood the importance of equilibrium and such alignment in the skies was a cause of celebration and commitment to seeking balance in their own world. Aligning themselves with the heavenly powers took on for many cultures a manifestation of great ritualistic celebrations that recognized the importance of both light and day, with dark and night for their ultimate survival and the continuance of life. We wish you all, a happy balance of dark and light in your own lives and the welcoming of the fall (in the northern part of the equator) and a happy spring for those in the southern part of the globe.

Venus in Scorpio: Love in the Underworld

Posted in Uncategorized with tags on September 13, 2010 by YAEL

When Venus is in Scorpio, there is a certain attraction to water and gain thereby. Scorpio rules the eight house of the zodiac. Because Scorpio is the house and joy of Mars, much aggression and passion is displayed. The eighth house of the zodiac according to the Celestial Intellengencer describes it as : “concerning death, its time, its nature, with all matters relating to legacies, wills, and last testaments; or who shall inherit the estates or fortunes of the deceased”. It also answers all questions pertaining to public or private enemies, and in a law suit “relative to the defendant’s success and friends”. Its co-significator is Saturn. The eighth house also is the house of “transformation”, therefore, when Venus is in Scorpio, the general conciousness is directed towards a subtle attraction to matters of the dead, including monies and legacies, sex, jealousy and the need to rise out of the ashes such as the phoenix, which is the animal characteristic of Scorpio. The eighth house is the house of the underworld and with Venus in it, every type of suspicion, luxury, pleasures and love of sensation comes to the forefront.

The New Moon in Virgo

The new or black moon on September 8 occurs at 4:25 AM CST.
The conjunction of the sun and moon in Virgo will highlight money matters, which will be the major source of focus for the next month.

The influences of analytical Virgo, and Mercury retrograde in the same sign, will lend itself towards a healthy analysis of personal revenue leading to new sources of income.

At the height of the month, during the full moon, mercury will once again be direct picking up speed, and as if guided by a new awareness, the common trend will be towards meticulous planning and responsibility, guided by a strong leadership and resolve to broaden financial resources.
Please be aware, that this is a general description of the planetary influences on the collective consciousness of the moment. Only an individual’s natal chart can fully shed light on specific planetary issues that are in full effect in a person’s life.
